Comments: A much-beloved children's book with text in both English and Chinese. Lovely color illustrations. The book tells the story of Lao Lao, a woman renowned for her skill in traditional Chinese paper cutting. Lao Lao is locked away by the emperor in hopes that she will make jewels for him out of paper, but she is rescued by the Ice Dragon and becomes free to share her beautiful paper cuts with everyone. The last pages of the book also feature templates for children to make their own paper cuts.
