The author instructs both hobbyists and graphic designers, in detail, how to download and manipulate the designs or utilize them from the book itself, all royalty-free. The book also includes background on cherry trees and their place in Japanese culture. Illustrations by Ichiro Tanimoto, a Kyoto kimono designer.
